I’ve been practicing professionally for 12 years.
But I’ve been navigating life for 57.
Those are two very different credentials — and honestly, the second one is the reason you’re here.
I’m a therapist who has spent over a decade watching people heal in spite of the systems designed to help them. Organized healthcare is sterile by design. It measures you, categorizes you, and sends you home with a plan that was built for someone else. I’ve sat inside that system long enough to know what it can and cannot do — and I’ve spent years thinking about what happens in the space it leaves behind.
What happens there is everything.
This newsletter is for adults who are somewhere in the forty-year stretch between 25 and 65 — which sounds like a wide net until you realize how much living happens in that window. Multiple versions of yourself. Multiple reinventions. Losses you didn’t see coming and growth you couldn’t have planned for.
You’ve probably done the therapy. Read the books. Downloaded the app. And you’re still looking for the conversation that goes deeper than validation and further than acceptance.
That’s this.
This is not a space for passive belonging. It’s a space for active building — of new habits, new community, new ways of understanding what’s actually wrong and what’s actually working. I’m not here to make you feel better about where you are. I’m here to think alongside you about where you’re going.
I am, by my own description, an ironic thought leader. Which means I will say the things people don’t say in polite company. I will ask the questions that don’t get asked at dinner parties. I believe in healing through community and expansion — not through clinical distance or curated positivity.
The conversations here will be open and enriching. They will also require you to go somewhere beyond the surface. If that’s not what you’re looking for, no hard feelings. But if you’ve been waiting for a room where someone finally says the thing — welcome. Pull up a chair.
At the center of everything I do is an idea I call The Lifestyle Cure.
The premise is simple even if the work isn’t: lifestyle change is the antidote to what ails us. Not medication management. Not another productivity system. A genuine audit of what isn’t working, an honest accounting of what is, and the intentional building of new habits that restructure your internal infrastructure from the inside out.
And it all begins with a regulated nervous system — because that is the literal backbone of the entire human body. You cannot build anything sustainable on top of a dysregulated foundation. We start there. We build from there.
Every piece I write is part of the manual. Not a manual I’m handing you — a manual we’re building together, in public, one honest conversation at a time.
That’s the work.
I’m glad you’re here for it.
If someone in your life is ready for this kind of conversation, share this with them. The right community finds itself.
